Nick Warren
Partner
Nick Warren is a Partner at NOCON. He has more than 15 years’ experience in UK merger control as both a regulator and consultant. While at the UK Competition Commission, now the CMA, Nick was a Business and Remedies Adviser. Nick was also the Inquiries Director at the former UK competition regulator for the health sector (part of the UK Department for Health and Social Care).
In both of these roles Nick oversaw the design and implementation of interim and final remedies on various merger cases and market studies. As a former regulator, Nick understands the scope and intention of measures mandated by the authorities to hold companies separate, and how competition authority interventions are designed to remedy competition concerns. Given this background, Nick has a strong platform from which to support businesses that are subject to competition authority interventions.
Nick studied Law and Commerce at the University of Canterbury, NZ (LLB, BCom) and is an enrolled NZ Barrister and Solicitor.
