NOCON monitors sale of electrical heating business with at least 5,000 contracts
RheinEnergie AG, Cologne, and Westenergie AG, Essen, intend to enter into a strategic cooperation. The Federal Cartel Office agreed to the cooperation under the condition that the business unit electrical heating of RheinEnergie AG with at least 5,000 customer contracts for electrical heating will be sold to a suitable and independent acquirer. NOCON has been appointed as monitoring trustee to supervise the implementation of the remedy.
